Planned to A.T., Inc. Launches "My Money Grows" Financial Education Program at Duval County High Schools Jacksonville, FL – Planned to A.T., Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting financial wellness among young people, is proud to announce the launch of its new program, "My Money Grows", at Andrew Jackson High School and Ed White High School. This innovative financial education program is designed to engage students with practical, standards-based lessons that build real-world money management skills. Co-CEOs Tiffany Pearson-Kilgore and Ashley Rutland are thrilled to introduce the "My Money Grows" program to students in Duval County. "We’re passionate about helping young people develop the financial skills they need to thrive. This program not only teaches students how to assess their spending habits but also empowers them to set and achieve realistic financial goals," said Tiffany Pearson-Kilgore. Thanks to the generous support of local community partners, the program is being offered free of charge to participating students. The Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation has played a pivotal role in funding the program, demonstrating a strong commitment to youth education and community development. Additionally, Chick-fil-A has joined as a community sponsor, providing meals for all student participants at both assemblies. To further support students' financial literacy, Community First Credit Union will be present at each pep rally to discuss banking services and guide students interested in opening their first accounts. This program aims to bridge classroom learning with practical application. The presence of Community First Credit Union at these events aligns with what students have learned in the classroom, reinforcing their newly created financial savings goals. Event Details: First Assembly: Location: Andrew Jackson High School, 3816 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32206 Date: Thursday, April 10th Time: 12:30 PM Expected Attendance: 250 students Second Assembly: Location: Ed White High School, 1700 Old Middleburg Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32210 Date: Friday, April 11th Time: 12:00 PM Expected Attendance: 300 students These assemblies not only celebrate students’ commitment to financial wellness but also highlight the growing partnership between Planned to A.T., Inc. and the Duval County School System. “We are incredibly grateful to our community partners for making this possible.
